Configure end-user applications in GeolinQ 1.5.0

GeolinQ 1.5.0 introduces functionality to configure new screen types in addition to maps. The new screen types include lists, menus, forms and questionnaires. The configured screen can be used in end-user applications. Multiple applications can be configured and published in GeolinQ application services that can be used on devices with an internet browser. All screens can be linked to geographic and non-geographic data including files like documents and pictures. As screens and data are linked powerful end-user focused solutions to collect, integrate and distribute data can be configured in minutes.

The attributes of the data models created in GeolinQ are the base for screen configuration. For example the fields of a form screen or the columns of a list screen a mapped on the data model using configuration wizards.  End-user applications are created by relating multiple screen to each other. These applications are distributed via application services.  End-user can use these applications on any device with a web browser.

With the introduction of the new screen types in GeolinQ 1.5.0 end-user applications can be configured being far more powerful than Map portals available in earlier GeolinQ releases. From now application services replaces the map portal services were only map screens could be made available to end-users. New functionality is added to the existing map screen type to collect GNSS receiver data. The functions include the calculation of points that are out of range of the GNSS receiver using measurements that can be measured and line visualization based on measured points.
