GeolinQ 1.4.8 available

GeolinQ version 1.4.8 offers new options to process point-clouds and raster datasets. By using ‘resampling’ datasets can be reduced to a smaller dataset by selecting the needed grid size. Per grid cell attribute values like average, standard deviation, minimum and maximum value can be derived from the original dataset.

Sum and difference processes of can be defined to make calculations on attribute level of raster datasets. So it is possible to calculate the difference of two surveys done before and after work in a specific area. The results of these calculation can be visualized or used for further processing as contouring as shown in the following picture.

The user interface for import and export is enhanced and simplified in version 1.4.8 so import and export of file is more intuitive. In addition file import formats are extended with the support of BAG, ECW and WFS2.0 formats. BAG is used in the hydrographic domain for the import of bathymetric data. The ECW format is used to import optometric images. The support of WFS 2.0 offers the option to import features of WFS services without feature limitations.

The map portal option are extended by an option to define the start position and scale when opening a map. End users have now the option to show or hide legends of map layers in a map. This offers and users more options to use maps in map portals.
